You will then cross a stone bridge. You need to take the next right turn after the bridge & stay on this road for approx 500m, there are a couple of sharp bends (one with a track ahead of you for Pistyllgwyn which you ignore). Stay on the road for a further 200m down the hill over a small bridge with metal railings and Bryn y Cadno is the next entrance on the left-hand side with "Greener Camping" sign.

Additional Information

Bryn y Cadno has a long and interesting history dating back to the 16th century (1594) with buildings and associated structures forming a group of very distinctive character. The cow house (located over the stone bridge) is old but is on older foundations which is mooted to have being the original house and barn before the existing farmhouse.... the Lounge/Family Room and the entrance hall and small part of sitting room would have been a 2 room dwelling before the Sitting Room came into existence for a worker and then the upper floor added. Material in the National Library references the history of Bryn-y-Cadno back over 400 years and gives good reason to suppose that Bryn y Cadno is medieval in origin. Other features include the stone built spring found within the grounds and the charming hump backed stone bridge which crosses the Nant Cwm-Cyfyng ;
